Job description

As a Staff Product Manager, you will own and build an AI-first enterprise product from the ground up, tackling highly complex, mission-critical workflow automation in environments with demanding, multi-layered stakeholder setups on the customer side. You will operate in ambiguous problem spaces, define what the product should be before it exists, and turn AI capabilities into solutions that are reliable, explainable, and scalable for enterprise use. Working closely with a senior product designer and a senior product engineer in a strong product trio, you will own discovery and delivery end-to-end and set the bar for product quality and impact. The role is based within commuting distance of Berlin or Vienna, with regular in-office collaboration and strong remote flexibility to support focused, high-impact work.

What’s in for you?

  • Join a fast-growing, well-funded European startup backed by experienced founders and investors.

  • Be part of a mission-driven health-tech company whose work directly improves people’s lives.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of core operational processes that keep the company running.

  • Play a key role in scaling Flinn, shaping how operations work as we grow.

  • Work in a high-trust, low-ego environment with autonomy and clear ownership.

  • Enjoy flexible working hours, remote flexibility, and regular team time in Vienna.

  • Work in a net-zero company where all unavoidable CO₂ emissions are compensated with carefully selected, high-quality removal certificates.

  • Receive one of the most employee-friendly equity packages, including fair vesting terms and profit-sharing opportunities.

  • Grow in a professional, high-standard environment that supports long-term personal and career development.

Your contributions to our journey:

  • The core responsibility will be owning and shaping a new, complex product end-to-end — from fuzzy problem spaces to scalable, enterprise-ready solution. You will operate comfortably in ambiguity and turn it into clarity. Concretely, you will…

    • lead the definition and development of complex product initiatives from scratch, including problem framing, solution design, and validation.

    • deeply understand enterprise B2B customers, their workflows, constraints, and buying dynamics, and translate those into durable product value.

    • continuously gather customer, stakeholder, and market feedback, derive insights from qualitative and quantitative data, and challenge assumptions.

    • prioritize opportunities based on business impact, customer value, risk, effort, and strategic fit — and confidently defend those trade-offs.

    • own and drive product discovery at a high bar, especially for AI-first solutions where the “right answer” is rarely obvious.

    • translate validated solutions into clear product requirements and work hands-on as a product owner with one or more scrum teams to drive execution and high-quality outcomes.

    • collaborate closely with sales to drive the closing of the initial deals and enable them to transfer the product to a repetitive sales motion post initial product-market-fit.

  • You will act as a senior product leader with significant influence beyond your immediate product scope. This includes:

    • shaping our long-term product vision and contributing meaningfully to company-level strategy.

    • acting as a sparring partner for other team members, raising the overall quality bar of product thinking and execution.

    • evangelizing a strong, outcome-driven product mindset across the company — especially in complex, regulated, or AI-heavy contexts.

  • You will play a key role in building scalable product management practices as we grow. This will include:

    • evolving our discovery, delivery, and decision-making processes to handle increasing product and organizational complexity.

    • defining and applying frameworks that help teams build the right things, not just ship faster.

    • supporting the growth of our product and technology organization, including hiring and onboarding.

Job requirements

What you need to be successful:

  • Extensive experience building complex products from the ground up — not just iterating on existing features.

  • Strong ability and openness to operate at both strategic and execution levels, and to switch between them effortlessly.

  • Proven ability to lead without authority, align senior stakeholders, and drive decisions and projects in ambiguous environments.

  • High curiosity and hands-on interest in AI-first products — you don’t treat AI as a buzzword, but as a core design material.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience under pressure, and a bias toward action and learning.

  • Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and proactivity.

  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in verbal and written English; German is a plus).

  • The ability to switch into a convincing sales role, pitching the product/vision whenever required.

Attributes we are looking for:

  • 10+ years of total working experience, with 5+ years in Product Management roles.

  • Significant experience with B2B (preferably enterprise) products; understanding long sales cycles, complex stakeholders, and high expectations around reliability and trust.

  • Good understanding of complex technical architectures and 3rd party integrations.

  • Proven experience with qualitative and quantitative product discovery methods, including interviews, usability tests, and data-driven validation.

  • Prior background in business, strategy, or consulting before moving into product management is a strong plus.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-first or AI-enabled products is a strong plus.

  • Experience working in both small startups and larger scale-ups is a bonus.

  • Industry experience in medtech or pharma is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
