Job description
At Flinn, we’re redefining how medical device manufacturers create safer and better products 10x more efficiently worldwide. To ensure we make the right data driven decisions across the company, in all departments (product, design, sales, customer success, finance…), we are looking for someone to join our team. You will take ownership of our entire end to end BI Infrastructure and ensuring all teams in the company gain insights out of the data. Most of your time will be spend on BI but 10% to 30% will be building internal AI enabled Automations. For this position, we are looking for a new team member with a fix base in commuting distance to Berlin or Vienna to enjoy regular in person interactions paired with great flexibility for remote work.

Your contributions to our journey:
Enable the entire company to answer their own data questions as much as possible.
Work with all teams in the company to ensure their data questions are answered (Sales, Finance, Product, Design, Customer Success).
Own & Build the entire data/ business intelligence infrastructure and drive architectural and design decisions (Pipelines, Data-warehouse, Transformations…).
Collaborate with Engineers to get all product events.
Build data transformations using DBT & define and prioritize the BI Roadmap.
Build BI Dashboards to answer business questions for the team.
Build automations for our company using tools such as (N8N, Make, Zapier, Scripting your own scripts, AI…).
Automating processes & sharing automation knowledge.
Growing the foundation to enable efficient automation and setting up AI agents to be become effective co-workers of human colleagues (e.g. co-pilot for sales, customer success chat bot, gather insights out calls).
This role is best suited for someone motivated to have a steep learning curve, work on the entire BI Stack, has entrepreneurial thinking and wants to answer complicated data questions.
Job requirements
What you need to be successful:
You have at least 2+ years of experience managing ELT processes in SaaS companies.
Experience as a data engineering or analytics role.
You have previously worked as a BI Developer or comparable position.
You are an expert in SQL & DBT - additional knowledge of Python is a benefit but no must.
Experience in building visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (eg. Looker, Omni).
You are highly analytical, show self-initiative and can prioritize tasks independently.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
You have experience working with tools such as N8N, Zapier, Make.
Programming experience and writing scripts in languages such as python/ JS.
Deep experience with various AI tools.
It is a bonus if you have worked extensively with our Techstack: BigQuery; DBT; FiveTran; S3; Omni Analytics; Fivetran; Segment.
